Star Wars New Teaser

The cross guard does seem like an odd choice. Correct me if I'm wrong, though, but didn't that already exist in Star Wars lore before this movie? I think I read something that it already existed, and they just chose to use it.

It may be in the extended universe in the books; my SW-crazy* coworker is no longer a coworker so I can't ask him. *I call him SW-crazy in a loving way. He was cool.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
Besides, already being in the EU lore doesn't make it any less stupid.

Hasn't Abrams already nullified the EU anyway? Expanded Universe, I mean, not Europe. Although...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Me neither, but I read somewhere that nothing of the EU is canon anymore.

Quote:"On April 25, 2014, Lucasfilm announced that the Expanded Universe was being reorganized under the new non-canon "Star Wars Legends" banner to make way for a new line of continuity, led by principal projects Star Wars Rebels and the Star Wars sequel trilogy, to take shape. Certain previously published Expanded Universe material remained in print as Legends stories" Quote:Though past elements of the Expanded Universe have been declared non-canon as a whole, they remain a resource for future Star Wars material to reference elements of the EU, thus bringing these elements into the new continuity as canon.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke |
