To think, it all started with Shell's need for a hug. Tongue

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Happy people feed off of happy people! And those nasty religious meanies think we're such un-loving folk...

Some of the happiest people I know are of the non-religious. They never waste time thinking of heaven or fearing hell. Just living the here and now.
As much as I would love to keep flirting. I need to go to bed. Need to get up early so to go up town. Big Grin
I love a good flirt. It's rather fun.
I'll see you tomorrow.

To all fundies>>> The very notion of me having a limit to what I can do given to me by something that I do not hold a legitimacy to is crazy to me. You are crazy as far as i'm concerned.

Yes prisons are filled with people who claim they were doing god's work. Wars are sided by religions, Wake up clown, god does not exist and us atheists are more grounded than the illusionists Christians.
We do have greater morals and consideration for nature because we are not misguided by gods and hell and major brainwashing. Tiger

The other day I had a conversation about how religious people, Christians in particular (some of them, not all of them), have a propensity to over-inflate non-issues like homosexuality and divorce while ignoring huge issues like AIDS and genocide in Africa or homelessness in the U.S. Dealing with god's issues instead of real issues is a cowardly way of getting out of real caring and real helping. They can say, "It doesn't matter that children are starving. God will take care of them when they get to heaven. It is god's will. However, god did clearly state that he hated homos, so we must do something about them now."

"The Guy" was an idiot. And I wanted Ace's and Shell's hugs. I just wish Shell would give me kisses too. But by all means, carry on with the intelligent discussion again.
