SC can correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe he's staff here and as far as I am aware, you're not allowed to block admin or staff.

You are correct. It's against the rules, though since we added it to the rules I've made it so putting staff on your ignore list is impossible. You'll get an error message and staff get an alert so we can contact the member and let them know.

I honestly don't know why you keep coming back. When it seems you're beginning to be reasonable, you turn around and say you hope I die because I gave kudos to a post I thought was funny. You shit all over this forum, being completely horrible to people who are trying to be nice to you, even though you don't deserve it at all. You treat this board like shit, and if I hadn't retired from staff, I'd be voting for your ban. You don't even possess an entertaining chew toy quality. My suggestion is that your break should be permanent before you make even more of an ass out of yourself.

  Yeah, I took a break back in August to deal with some personal issues and focus on school. You're still awesome. I take comfort in the fact that you are staff here. Keeping the peace is nice. 


I'm not always lovely. I do have my moments. But I appreciate the compliment.

Some people never put the effort into being lovely and trying to be kind to people even when they're being an asshole like you do, so that in itself is enough for me to know how lovely a person you are

There are some efforts many people will never make that truly lovely people like yourself do... and you already demonstrably do make that effort and it's adorable

Since my hiatus, I have tried to learn how to better manage how I deal with internet discussions. I hope that one day I can be on the staff but I still have a long way to go as far as being diplomatic about things. I've had plenty of my own heated arguments in the past, and that is something that I continue to work on. 

The best way for me to accomplish better diplomacy skills starts here and if I allow myself to get so worked up over someone else's words, then it makes me no better than the person who started it. I'm still going to have my moments, but this time I can be more prepared and put more thought into my response vs just me flying off the handle as I've done in the past. Doing that never really resolved things and I'm sure there were quite a few complaints about my attitude. 

I'll be 45 years old next year and if I hold on to misplaced anger, it doesn't do anything other than stress me out and piss me off. That surely has never gotten me anywhere before. I'm constantly a work in progress. The field I'm going into, will no doubt throw me into discussions with many diverse personalities. I have to learn how to handle myself accordingly.
