I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. Apparently the lightsaber fight(s?) will have a rougher, more aggressive edge to them as opposed the the over-choreographed duels we've seen in the PT. I like the sound of that - two people actively trying to kill each other rather than showing off their skillz to each other
 Makes sense in a post-Jedi world as well, lightsaber combat will most likely have been rebuilt from the ground up after the loss of the Jedi Archives. I do hope we get to see some glimpses of Coruscant in the new trilogy...provided they don't stick around too long. That explanation mollifies me a little but, but I still think it's a rather stupid and otherwise dangerous design. It is interesting to hear that the fights will be more substance over style this time around.

I do smell like menthol, eucalyptus and echinacea tea right now, but I suspect that has more to do with getting over a cold than with being wrong about what is clearly and objectively a stupid light saber design
