I get help. But it's only SNAP, which doesn't cover non-edible goods. But I also have a family of five right now. I've tried making $196 a month in SNAP last that entire month. It just doesn't happen. I'm lucky if that lasts two weeks here. And that's with just the bare necessities for growing kids and two adults. I eat only once a day now as it is just to conserve our food supply.
Yep... but I'm too lazy according to KUSA, I guess, because I get assistance.

So. That doesn't give you the right to rub it in his face. You aren't any better than those christards who love passing judgment on people despite what their gawd says.
Why don't you just stop being a dick. I'm sure you could be a really likeable person if you had less dick in your personality than what's presumably in your pants.
He's not rubbing anything in my face, for him to do that I'd have to want what he wants, and I don't. What I am judging is his stupid fucking attitude that somehow I am making class a loyalty oath, "everyone be poor or jobless to prove yourself". He knows I am not doing that, he's just being a judgmental prick to justify his own bubble he lives in.
His business ownership or making more isn't why I judge him. I judge him for looking down on others. He stupidly think that saying "We cant keep exploding the pay gap", he stupidly jumps to the conclusion that those who say that want to rid the world entirely of the private sector, and become Stalin's Russia, and that is bullshit.

We most certainly could move to free higher education, and it is bullshit to say we'd have to become Cuba to do that.
Germany and Finland are certainly doing OK given free higher education to anybody that wants it. Germany's economy is the largest in Europe.
I've got the skills to move anywhere in the world precisely because I was brought up in a country that had free education. In my first year at university I even managed to get the last of the student grants.
Unfortunately the UK now puts its students into a lifetime of debt. The UK government have been slowly selling off all the assets of this country or taking them for granted not realising that they need investment in order to continue bringing in money (e.g. academia).

Yes you get rich off that I bet, never mind that the little you get ends up in the bank accounts of the grocery store you shop at. So really all you are is the temporary carrier. He's too stupid to understand he's subsidizing corporate welfare.

Just a day ago Paul Ryan had this to say on the subject.

Now, the fucker can admit he was wrong all he wants but until the budget he puts forward stops trying to reward the rich and fuck the poor he's just a bullshit artist.

If you're made redundant in Germany then you get paid 2/3rds of your previous wage to give you time to find a new job that is suitable for your skill set. It's not in anyone's interests for highly skilled people to just take anything they can in order to survive.
Tax is really high in Germany but so is the standard of living. You know that the tax isn't being wasted on the military in the same way that it is in the UK and US.

That being the operative word here. And that being the reason I'm looking down on him. Going by his post record, I feel perfectly justified to grant him my unconditional contempt.

Oh yes... I'm exactly that. Rich. LOL... I watch those shows like Extreme Couponing and wonder how the fuck they do that then learn that since the grocery stores are going to be on a tv show, they all of the sudden (you know, for their own gain), become willing participants in the couponing scam. Nope, sorry, but when you take 50 coupons for the same exact thing into a store, they put quantity limitations on your ass. You see it in every ad insert in the paper or in the flyers you can pick up in the entrances to the stores. Example: Buy a case of snapple, get a case free. LIMIT FOUR per customer, per visit.
So those shows are really scams because I can't go in and buy 50 boxes of spaghetti for $1.00 each, but then present 25 coupons that will give me half of those boxes for fifty cents a piece and the other half of those boxes for free. It just doesn't work that way. Realistically, I might be able to give them two coupons.

Hold on now, "It's not in anyone's interests for highly skilled people to just take anything they can"....... Who is claiming that. I think you missed the part where i said it is still important that everyone be educated the best they can. Of course you want the brightest on the top, but with everything in life the higher up you go, the more competition there is and the fewer spots there are. I am not suggesting at all nobody ever move up. I just said it is important everyone be as educated as they can no matter where they end up.
It isn't an either/or thing at all, it is a stability issue. It still remains you cant keep stretching the difference between the top and bottom and expect that rubber band not to break.

And the ONLY reason I'm in school is because I have no marketable job skills and I refuse to take a job making minimum wage. It just won't support my family. So there it is. I need to work, but I also need school first.
Yay that I get to go into debt Eighteen thousand dollars just so that I can earn about $25,000 a year to start. And when I graduate, I'm going on to get my cosmetology license and then go back to school for another 600 credit hours to get my barbering license. When that's done, I'll work for one to two years to get some "real world" experience so that I can then spend another $8000 to get my instructors license in cosmetology and who knows how much money to get my BT license (Barber teachers)
Yep, I'll be well over $30,000 in the hole, but I will have a dual licensure so that I can teach not only cosmetology, but barbering as well.
Fun stuff this getting into debt is!
You don't sound anything like tick boy. You are trying to make something of yourself and I commend you for it.
