I find it mildly amusing (in a dark "fuck 'em all" Carlinesque way) that the reason we may end up with that jackass Trump in the White House is because people are fed up with the parties and business as usual in D.C. -- while collectively ignoring the degree to which they, the citizens, share responsibility for this state of affairs through their lack of vigilance, lack of interest in substantive policy debates, and their willingness to re-elect incumbents election after election.

Trump isn't being investigated by the FBI though. He will highlight how much criminality the Clintons have got away with. The FBI is conducting a criminal investigation. It does not conduct "security reviews" as Hilary has claimed.

I wasn't aware that he called Bill a rapist. But to use such an argument would mean admitting Bill Clinton is a rapist. Which I'm sure Hilary does not want to say as it means that she is married to a rapist. I'm not so clued in on the details of the allegations, but couldn't Donald easily say "I invited them to my wedding before I knew Bill was a rapist".

I don't think I am underestimating him. Hillary has big negatives, no doubt, but the investigation won't be allowed to conclude until after the election -- which puts it on a par with Trump University in terms of political heft. Hillary's team is much, much more experienced at running a campaign, too.

I could be wrong, no doubt. But if I were Robby Mook I'd be licking my chops at the prospect of the general election ... licking my chops and whetting my knives.
