Did you say what you meant there?

I edited in the word are and I'm fairly certain it says what I mean..?

OK - the phrasing seemed awkward so I thought I'd ask.

The point is that

1 - they are going to get sued
2-  they are putting up additional signs and fencing.
3-  that they are doing so will appear as an admission that they should have done so before and will damage their case in court
4-  they are doing it anyway
5-  which suggests that they will settle the case as quietly as possible.

And now, here is the kicker.  No matter how many signs or fences they put up if some future asshole gets attacked by an alligator they will still get sued because:

Ahh...I misunderstood your other post to be implying that they would not put up signs.

I don't mean to be degrading. It just makes me very, very angry, because that poor little boy died a terrifying, senseless death. Sometimes I don't know how to deal with those feelings, tbh. Without a god to point the finger at, I guess I reflexively get angry with the next easiest target. Not saying that's right; it's just how I feel.

I see.  I'll bet some lawyer told them not to, though.

I'm sure they pay a fortune for insurance.  May as well use it.

Can you imagine how much more money they'd lose if they reacted defensively, refused to put up signs, and fought against the civil suit?

They're an amusement park geared toward families...

I wonder.  People seem to have short memories.

Lol, that's a fair request. Maybe you could just pop your head out and check for your shadow, groundhog-style. If you see it, it'll be least six more years of us arguing about God. [emoji13]
