So, I am getting the impression that you can be an atheist here, but if you don't agree with your political stances, then whether your atheist or not, you will always be wrong.

Excuse my french for a moment. For most of us, being an atheist doesn't mean shit. It doesn't earn you any brownie points. I don't know about you, but I don't define myself over atheism, as I'm getting tired to explain over and over. I define myself very much over my social and political values, my interests and my humanism.

So, she can call me a troll and I cannot defend myself without one of the "comrades", coming into help. It means to not have a sense of humour. I don't think she has since what I stated about the corset does make people laugh in England. So, I am getting the impression that you can be an atheist here, but if you don't agree with your political stances, then whether your atheist or not, you will always be wrong. I'd prefer to be atheist and be capable of speaking my mind than be a sheep following others. 

While we're talking about words with loose meanings, "to troll" can mean something serious (like being inflammatory) or to generally be giving someone shit.

I didn't understand the joke because, surprise, not all idioms or humorous statements are going to translate even when both countries speak the same language.

No one is persecuting you here, and I don't need their help - they're all quite aware of it too.

On the contrary, all I have seen is someone like Paul who has tried to defend his position against a whole group of people. Not one single experienced user I think has ever defended Pauls position since, you all think alike because you have all been here a great deal longer.

If he wasn't ready to defend his position against a crowd of people, an open forum was a poor place to voice it.  Sure, we all agree that white privilege exists.....there's probably a reason for that.  There's probably a reason that people who would defend his position are difficult to find.  

I'm not sure it has to do with groupthink.

You could take up the reins. Go back through the thread...try to make use of his arguments. If you like. Or, hell...come up with some of your own?
