I'm unsure how staying home and not voting at all will change things. Care to enlighten me?

Both parties need people to come out and vote.  If all the Bernie voters decide not to eat the shit sandwich, then the DNC will have to do something different in 2020, if they want to win.

We might see the effects immediately, just because of the threat of not voting.  I'm curious if they'll shake up their super-delegate system. There's a lot on the line for the political parties. All those administration position jobs go away if your candidate doesn't win.

This shit sandwich is self inflicted too.

I'm really getting fucking tired of these self-inflicted unforced errors.

He endorsed her because he considers her the lesser evil. At least on a social level. I know you don't subscribe to something like that, but Hillary is on the lines of Bernie when it comes to same sex marriage and other social issues. Which can't be said about the opposing side.

He endorsed her, because he has to go back to the senate.  And in the Senate, he's reliant upon the democratic leadership to hook him up with his chairs on various committees.  Jill Stein is the obvious candidate for him to endorse, but Bernie has to look out for his career going forward, and that means playing ball.

While they're at it, let's just get rid of the ridiculous primary / caucus system. Honestly, in these modern times, no party needs to have a 4-5 month long procedure for electing their candidate. Make it a one day nationwide vote, just like we do in the actual election. Use some form of instant-runoff voting, or range voting to decide the winner.

Step 1: Don't do anything shady / illegal / unethical.
Step 2: If you fuck up Step 1, don't use emails to discuss anything covered by Step 1.

No, he endorsed her because, as opposed to others, he sees the danger that is Trump. He gave interviews on his decision. Jill Stein won't win, period. As long as there's the winner takes it all system, third party candidates ain't worth shit.

A man of Bernie's age doesn't need to go back to the senate anymore. He could very well live out his remaining years in relative prosperity.

Not sure you really understand what kind of politician Sanders is. I don't see Sanders retiring any time soon, and I don't see him seeing any merit in living out his remaining years in "relative prosperity". He'll keep campaigning until he can't physically do it anymore.

WikiLeaks generally releases things when they are ready, or when they will make the most impact. They don't care about how this affects the election; they care about releasing information. Plus, Assange doesn't like Clinton at all, so he probably doesn't want to see her in power anyway.

Releasing them right before the DNC might make them a talking point.

Well I'll be rooting for the machinations of the DNC to win out over those of Wikileaks in this instance then.

And i really Hope Hillary's campaign goes down the shitter from this i really do...

But then you already and always have so the Wikileaks is irrelevant for you. The Wikileaks release will merely reinforce what everyone already already believes as it has for you. For me I already have zero trust in any political party to do anything but further their own perceived best interest. There is no GoodGuys party.
