Having my 2-3 monthly outbreak of mouth ulcers, I can't eat or talk comfortably.

Anbesol is a benediction

I hate those.

I get them occasionally.

Certainly not every few months.

I don't know why but it comes in waves. Every few months I'll have a week or two where I get a mouth full of them. It's not like it's a hygeine issue because I'm a clean freak, especially with my teeth and mouth tbh. I'm wondering if it's something I eat, or maybe hormonal

The worst is when I accidentally bite my tongue or inside of my cheek though, because I know it's coming then.

A quack?

Nothing super regular, it's just roughly every few months. I should keep a record of it and see if there's anything I notice tbh. Sometimes it coincides with a cold, like this time, but not always.

Oh I've tried, it's useless. They'll fob me off with some mouthwash that doesn't do shit

Apart from anesthetize it for brief periods with my anbesol, there's usually nothing I can do but wait it out. Sucks.

I get them when I eat a lot of acidic foods. Tomato sauces, orange juice, white wines, etc.

I asked my dentist, and he said they come when your body pH is low. Also with a Vitamin B-12 deficiency.

He gave me this disgusting paste that you pack in the sore when you go to bed. This shit is amazing. 2-3 days at the most, sometimes 1 night if you catch it early.
