Add to that lead singer of megga band U2 and BONO. Just saw on CBS This Morning a clip of an interview with Charlie Rose. While BONO did say he understands the angst of Trump supporters, he knows what the sane world does, that Trump's hate peddling is predatory and merely selling fear to get votes.

How does a grown man find solace in a political discussion/decision based on what some stoner singer says thinks or does?
I mean seriously most of us after highschool figured out that 'those people' (people who make their living playing to pop culture) are often times at best, screwed up morons. Which is why Most of us leave the garage band and go to school or find a real job.
So then what does it matter what these people think??
They in no way contribute to the inner workings of this country. You need to be looking at what the men and women who keep this country going say and think. What does the military say? what do the police think, what do the energy producers think, what do those who supply the basics of modern life think. Why? because they better than any bean counting expert knows their little corner of this country, and how specific suggested policy changes will change what it is they do. If a policy change destroys the police's ablity to up hold our laws, then know crime is going to sky rocket.
If the energy producers say a specific change or lack of action is going to double energy cost know that not only won't you be able to afford to put gas in your car you will now also struggle to keep the lights on? Why? not only because of the increase at the pump or your specific light bill, but the cost of production, transportation and storage of our food will double or triple as it did under Obama.
So again who cares what some douche bag who makes a show of his good works thinks??? Where is he when rioters were burning down flint? what is he doing for the 36% percent more Americans on food stamps? What will he do for all the small business owners who can't afford to pay all their people 15.00 an hour to stand around holding a broom? Will he write a song about it and line his pockets with the proceeds and then offer some trivial 'act of charity' in return?
