Also, I've noticed some people here use the philosophy of "if it makes you happy, then go for it" for any action/lifestyle under the sun that isn't directly harming another.
...Yet take a much more critical/judgmental approach when it comes to people taking joy in their faith.
Why does the logic of "if it makes you happy, go for it" get tossed out the window when it comes to theists who's faith brings them happiness? Who are happy when they go to church, pray, sing together, believe, etc?
Some food for thought.

This plays off of Pascal's Wager. If the existentialist says that each person should find their own meaning, and I find my meaning in God, then I have met the existentialist test and have lost nothing.

Some food for thought. It is different to make a decision that makes you happy as an adult, and there is a difference in being happy with something that was inculcated in you since you were a child. Religion is used for manipulation. That is the difference.
Also, I just posted this to see opinions. I dont plan on buying this game. As far as I have gone is making some costume t-shirts with my favorite anime girl character  For some reason, women make a face of disappointment when they see me with those shirts xDDD

While I won't deny religion being pushed on children young has had detrimental effects, the same does not apply to those who did not grow up in religion but decided to believe well in to their adult years. What do you say to those situations?

Correct. I didn't grow up in religion or going to church. I know a TON of people who didn't start believing anything until their 20's/30's and never went to church. Just a typical case of labeling and assuming all Christians are the same. You will be surprised to find a great deal of Christians have very unique stories of how they became believers.

Yeah... I agree with this. If you are a religious adult, not hurting anyone, and it makes you happy- just like anything else- I see nothing wrong with it.

On the flip side of that, I know a ton of people who were indoctrinated as children and whose beliefs have evolved over the years to things that don't even resemble the indoctrinated subjects. I know a lot more people like that than those who have stuck with those indoctrinated beliefs.
White Nationalism isn't the same as religion, but Derek Black is a prime example of this.

This has always been a mystery to me. Why would an adult choose to have a religion goes beyond me. I believe it is a minority among those who believe.
I will not try to convince you to stop believing since there must a deep emotional reason for you to choose to believe. But there are some limits that you have to consider then: 1. No political power 2. No supporting the church in any way, be it money, etc. 3. Do not force you children to believe in your chosen religion. 4. The church must be taxed. 5. Do not try to teach your religious beliefs in schools/highschools.

Live and let live =/= ban on criticism and critique.
If you air your ideas about your beliefs in the real world, expect people to talk back. The fact there is even a discussion about the subject of virtual girlfriend's online (if they do harm anyone it could be argued it is only be the person indulging in it, which can't often be said of religious faith) is surely testament to that, no?
