Another apologist with his "clever" questions
RE: Another apologist with his "clever" questions
Maybe in goblygoopland, where things are different because they're different.  Here, 2+2=4,  objectively. Or you know, maybe not, and since theres really no way to reference it anymore theres no point in you trying to convince me, or anyone, of anything - regarding anything..because it could all just as easily equal cheesecake.

There we have it, 2+2= cheesecake, and if you divide cheesecake by the square root of pixies, discarding any fractions, you arrive at a hypothetical God who can make whatever it wants true, or not, or true and false simultaneously...and all of this is, ofc, perfectly logical, in the way that logic is a subjective thing, as we've expressed.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Okay, enough of this.

It's your turn.

Show me why every single universe out there needs to conform to our set of rules for it to be logical. Go.

Give me a proper refutation. Learn to use arguments.

I'm not interested in debating you. You're a little too silly for my taste.

Glad someone is,  though. This is entertaining.

I said I try. That gif was about you getting owned all over. I'm generally not so involved lol.

Go away then.

You're not following the conclusion of your ideas, ftr. Yes, you can argue about how ambiguous Mathematics is in principle or whatever, about how there could conceivably be other rules of logic in another universe... But you actually can't because you're in this universe and bound by the logic "from here". Trying to argue another kind of logic into existence by using yet another one is much like trying to both have your cake and eat it. It won't work.

Precisely this. Until you arrive at a different Mathematics or logic that is superior to the current one and shows that 2+2 =5 somehow, you're not doing anything but wasting everyone's time. Get with the band or get off the bus and wander stoned in the desert. But don't throw a fit.

Why would I waste my time showing you that, it's not as though that's -my- position.  My position is so much simpler....that a universe needs to conform to logical rules, for it to be logical.

Fucking crazy, I know...a revolutionary idea - but I'm a free thinker.

No shit. I've already said a multitude of times in the beginning that we're conditioned to this space-time. All that means is that we can't imagine what other rules would be like in principle, but we can imagine that there could be other ones that exist, because again, why even assume *these* rules are the only ones that can be applied to a universe? Nothing more, nothing less.

Goblygoop is a set of logical rules, and 2 + 2 = 5 conforms to said rules. We're not in any position to discredit as that being logical ***in goblygoop's universe***.

If so, then yes I agree with what you said.

Why assume that there are other universes with other rules? Just because you can imagine them existing doesn't mean they are real.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

RE: Another apologist with his "clever" questions
Sure we can imagine them, you imagined a universe in which 2+2=5.  Is there some point at which you;re goig to say anything that's true even by reference to your own loose statements and standards?

Can we skip to that point?

Again, no, goblygoop is emphatically not a set of logical rules, you invoked it specifically to avoid logical rules, you've described it as being a set of rules that lead to illogical conclusions..... and fred is still not bob. We can discredit goblygoopland and goblygoop as logical, only because you explicitly imagined them to be so. It doesn;t mean that, in goblygooplan, 2+2 -isn;t- 5...just that this isn't logical, it;s goblygoopal..and you;re still just equivocating...now, after you've claimed that they -weren't- the same thing. Do you need me to quote you......I shouldn't have to.

You reek of desperation for the credibility the term logical seems, to you, to confer ...but as you've since envisioned and described "logic" - in your terms..it has none. It's just a bunch of subjective nonsense......remember?
