Your thoughts on the protests
RE: Your thoughts on the protests

You have a new president elected following a legal constitutional process - it happened, it wasn't rigged, if you don't like the guy you should have made some noise before the election, not after.

Furthermore, the protests happen in areas where most of the people voted for Clinton, so the people who voted for her are the ones getting punished and have their lives disrupted. Why don't you go and protest in the cities and states that voted for Trump?

No point crying over spilt milk, really.

bold mine

We had two hundred protest in Omaha (not even sure how they scraped together that many). Any way, they got pepper balled by the police. That old unlawful assembly chestnut.

They have been raised to be self reliant and think for themselves.  I'm sure some will say I indoctrinate that thinking into them since they were knee high to a duck.  I would disagree.  I raised all of  my children to be intellectuals, self reliant and to think for themselves.

How'd they feel about the pussy grabber?

Differently amongst them, inappropriate at best but that they paled in comparison to Bill Clinton's actions.

What's got Bill to do with anything Hillary - other than being her spouse?

Riots are awesome. If your reaction to Trump being president isn't the immediate desire to throw a brick threw a window or burn something, I question your emotion as a human being.

The DNC DCCC and the media are going to pull that same shit they did this year in 2020 because
they want to get Tim Kaine into office or someone who is pro TPP anyways. I just hope i really hope
we get progressive into office after Trumps time is up if he does a great job i wouldn't mind another 4 years.

It's not about people voting differently. It's about something much deeper.

All my girls are independent thinkers.  Of course they don't listen to FOX News like yours probably do.  They watched the debates, and saw how each of the candidates acted.  They saw Trump for what he is--nothing but a big bully.  And they don't get how people can vote for a bully, because even they understand that bullying is wrong.  What they don't understand is how adults can't see that.  They look at the world, and see how hard it is for a woman to get ahead in the world.  They look and see how our money only has men on it, how we've only had male presidents, and even male presidential candidates until now.  They want to know why women don't make up more of congress and the senate, when they're 50% of the population.  Your not-so-subtle suggestion that they are sexist is ridiculous and insulting.  They know that gender shouldn't be important to a candidate--which is why they see it as an injustice that we've never had a female president, and only one female presidential candidate for a major party.
The whole tone of Church teaching in regard to woman is, to the last degree, contemptuous and degrading. - Elizabeth Cady Stanton

I love how the side in this that accused Trump and his supporters of not being adults promptly throw a temper tantrum like a four year old at the grocery store that was just told he can't have a candy bar.

I would love to know how many that are protesting, particularly the derilicts in Portland, actually voted.

To be fair, most of the protesters that I've seen are very young. This isn't the entire anti-Trump side that is being represented. I'd certainly never join in on these protests.
