They are standing up for what they believe in which is, I suppose, The American Way. Even if they're wrong, they have a right to express their opinions, as long as it stays peaceful. I don't know that I'd be out protesting... I think that's a pretty big overreaction. But hey, more power to 'em.

I don't think there was a person on this board that didn't expect there to be protests if Hillary had won.

In fact, there was a movement to riot and cause mayhem by a significant portion of his followers had things gone the other way. Not sure how many would have followed through, but either way.

People are just expressing their frustration and anger. Let 'em at it, they'll get it over with soon.

If the nation did not turn on it's head when obama won for the first time with all of the 'in yo face' BS republicans endured after, I do think it would have been much different for clinton.

We would have simply pick up our mess and went to work the next day. Just like what happened the last 8 years.

There is a sense of 'self righteousness' and a lot of pride is butthurt when you mix the two you get this sort of crap. Who is more self righteous that the hard left?

Beating up people because of who they voted for is a disgrace, if that's what happened, and it sure looks like it is. The dems aren't all inherently innocent and the reps aren't all inherently evil.
