Snopes just lists it as uncomfirmed, which is fair from what I've seen.

There are numerous confirmed reports though The entire first page Min listed, the school incidents are all confirmed by police reports and school officials.
There have been a few in Oregon here, people dressing in blackface, or just rallying in their trucks with Trump flags and shouting things like "Go back to Mexico".
Not all of them are violent by any means. Most that I've seen are actually passive aggressive. But that kind of thing is happening right now, and it's happening all over our country. It's hate, hate hate. Everyone hates everyone else, us vs them. It's terrible to see.

According to the Santa Monica FB page:
- they heard about the issue
- they received no report
- they checked local hospitals and found no record of this guy being treated anywhere

I've never been there. Maybe he said Santa Monica but was actually nearby, but outside the city limits, and so went to a hospital that they didn't check, and filed a report with a different agency. That's why I said that a couple days are needed to see if it's real or a hoax. But right now, it's looking like a hoax. No police report. No hospital records. A guy who knows how to fake a bloody scene.

It works from the other side too, as I already said. As in girls claiming to having been raped by refugees, when police reports confirm that they were pulling their leg and simply went with the xenophobic narrative of their environment.

Oh hell yeah it works.  This happened where I grew up.

Probably sounds like an all-american outdoor adventure to trumpsters. Nothing quite like oppressing the other™ out in the open country air to bond a man to his racially pure progeny. Hell, I know, I've been there...we've allll been there, lol.

Which is the case in many countries. It's not my opinion although I would like to take credit for it, but analysts pretty much agree that it's down to a radically changing media. Mainstream, conservative as well as liberal, is pretty much dead by now. People tend to get their informations from Facebook, Twitter or more or less biased internet blogs. There's no political debate going on anymore. It's taking the desired version of information from a particular internet blog and presenting it as fact without accepting any discussion over the source or it's validity.

We can observe that here quite often. People entrench themselves in their preconceived notions and move very little to gather additional information on any given topic. It's that way with terrorism, where the alleged numbers of muslim attacks don't stand the litmus test of FBI or Europol reports. It's the same with any social issue, it's the same with refugees or immigrants, it's the same on pretty much any issue.

‘Go back to your country — this is Trump Land’: USPS driver busted for harassing Hispanic man

The United States Postal Service is investigating after one of its drivers allegedly yelled racially charged insults at a Hispanic man in Cambridge, Mass.

Boston Magazine reports that Yarden Katz, a fellow at the Harvard Medical School, witnessed a postal worker telling a Hispanic man that he needed to “go back to your country” because “this is Trump Land” and he wasn’t welcome here any longer.

Teacher caught taunting students their parents will be deported now that Trump is president

A Los Angeles area substitute teacher has been fired after a student recorded him taunting Latino sixth graders about the election of Donald Trump, telling them their parents were going to be deported, reports NBC4.
