How Much Evidence Will It Take You To Believe In God???

Can you walk me through how being arrogant and condescending will help you accomplish that?

Now I feel free to be a little harsh with you. If I had my way and was the king of atheism, you wouldn't be allowed to become an atheist until I was satisfied you would do a better job of representing us than you do of representing Christians. Starting with the bizarre font use. So I've no particular reason to consider what effect my approach could have on your attitude or chances of giving up Christianity. To the slight degree that I think Christianity is something people should avoid believing, you're doing a better job of showing people the flaws of that belief system than you likely could as an atheist, so I'm kind of hoping you won't deconvert from theism.

However, if I really wanted to persuade you, I would listen to you, consider what you have to say, try to understand what your position really is and how you came to hold it; and use your feedback to improve my approach, grateful for any flaws you've pointed out in my reasoning, because knowing them can only make my arguments stronger if I'm in the right. And without even caring a whit about persuading you personally, I've still managed to do a better job of all that with you than you have with any of us.

What do you mean  you've still managed to do better? all you showed me is your opinion. So you haven't proven me anything so far and on the contrary. I was ignoring nothing of substance. Dare I say, there wasn't any for me to ignore.  All you are giving was assumptions and opinions and unsubstantiated claims.

I have to say, this Poe is really dedicated to his character.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

Agree with this. Edward John is getting to the point where all he can do it stick his fingers in his ears and go la-la-la-la ...

But in multi-coloured large fonts. Obviously a sign of madness.

I have.

I can vouch for Stimbo. I was with him. He looked under every proverbial rock there is (except, of course, the rock he created that is so heavy that even he -- almighty Stimbo -- was unable to lift it). Yeah, no supernatural intervention, unless it's under that rock. But we'll never know . . .

. . . or a sign of a deep, repressed need for a Pina Colada, a four-on-the-floor beat, some glitter, and a stiff cock.

Obvious trolling is obviously trolling. Intentions irrelevant. One of many examples in a long series of bullshit.

Eddy Baby, sugar tits, just provide the evidence. If you can't, admit that you don't have any, and that yours is simply a belief with no evidence, i.e. faith.

So far you've provided no convincing evidence. Having failed, you now try to turn the tables and say "well you don't have any either", or "you haven't examined everything". An act of desperation used when you have nothing.

The thing is, my position is that there is a lack of evidence for any god(s) and that I'm OK with "we don't know" or "we don't know yet". Having been presented with no evidence I'm comfortable in saying, no evidence = no god(s). That means there is no "saving, soul, satan, hell, god". You're masturbating with no end result.

One thing I do know for certain, atheists don't kill, torture, enslave, rape, imprison, starve, ........... in the name of a god or because it was commanded by a god. Can your god/religion say the same? I'll answer for you, NO.

So, in short, put up or shut up.

FYI, this is a reading comprehension test.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Why bother? If your imaginary fiend can't be arsed to make itself known in a more convincing manner than "proofs" based primarily on extrapolating insufficient data and arguments from incredulity, I need only shrug and ignore it.

Have you tried strangling your god with its own beard and then forcing the angels to dismantle hell?  That's on My to-do list if I ever end up at the mythical Great White Throne.

Seriously, I don't think it's wise at all for you to trust the alleged word of a god that would invent such a place.  It could have invented Catholicism solely to see who was stupid enough to believe it, with the intention of frying you and everyone else just for the lulz.

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion, often for the troll's amusement.

You are raising false accusations against me I haven't done anything wrong other than speak the truth. Obvious lier is you. So that you can get me banned and so that you can carry on in your evil ways.

But your denial of God is an emotional reaction, not a logical one. We might imagine a disobedient child who is about to be punished by his father.  He might cover his eyes with his hands and say of his father, “You don’t exist!” but that would hardly be rational.
