These people and their thinking that they shouldn't be forced election after election to choose between a douche and a turd sandwich. They should just shut up and pick an asshole. It's the American way, after all. The Greens didn't lose the election for Gore in 2000. That election was lost on three counts, a) the republitards committed treason by stealing the vote in Florida (a treason so successful they did it nationally in 2004 and 2016, and tried it for both Obama wins), b) the Supreme Cort committed a further treason by their retroactive legitimisation of the vote stealing and appointing Shrub the figurehead of the conspiracy as President, and finally c) Gore and the DNC being too much of a bunch of wussies to stand up to this blatant criminality and instead bullying an innocent third party into taking the blame. The Dems won't have power in the US again until they realise the republitards are in the process of permanently rigging the game and they start fighting it tooth and nail.

You're ignoring the fact their interpretation of his campaign might not be the racist one you portray. If someone voted for Trump it's quite possible they didn't believe it was a 'racist campaign', despite whether it was or wasn't. To tarnish every voter a racist and ignore this is just irresponsible. It makes you no better than the wilfully ignorant racists you're trying to call Trump supporters. RE: Trump won the white working-man vote..

Accidental racists? LOL I'm already familiar with the phenomena. Somebody says or does something blatanly racists and then says "what was racist about that?" Well ofc they're oblivious, they're fucking racists.
I'm not tarnishing anyone Nap, they're the ones who cast that vote. As I keep saying, if the bad thing is pointing out racism, rather than being racist...I don't care. I'm going to do it anyway, no matter how much you or any given racist whines about it.

Yeah, all they have to do is believe that the guy that re-tweeted white supremacists over 75 times during his campaign wasn't running a racist campaign, and that makes it okay.
So the defense is that not all of them are racist. Some of them are just stupid.

I'll agree with you in principle that they aren't ALL racist. Is it possible to be "somewhat" or "a little" racist vs full blown white supremacist? I'd throw my parents in the "little bit" category if that's even possible. They would never say anything overt in public or call a black person the N word, but behind closed doors they let their guard down a little. My biggest issue with Republicans right now is their apparent love fest for the Donald. I can totally understand if they held their noses and cast a vote for Trump because they hated Hillary so much. If most of them would come out with the opinion of, "We got you elected to stop Hillary, now knock off the bullshit and do your job". But no.. They trotted out 18 candidates for president and let the dullest lightbulbs in the drawer pick their candidate, and now he's the greatest thing ever. This forum would have one tenth the post had they actually elected a decent human like Jeb Bush. There would be no protest. Plenty of the current crop of geriatrics were hippies once. One of my trump voting family members was. Getting old has an effect on people, lol.

The fact is that even if every single Trump voter voted that way out of Hillary-hate rather than bigotry, their votes gave the stamp of approval to Trump's bigotry. Myself, I think that's an entirely fair point to make: their votes may have enabled this idiot to stack the court with justices who are too willing to roll back the social progress we've made in the last 70 years. Trump's racism stands a very real chance of affecting my son, my nephew, my two nieces, my brother-in-law. Anyone who could hold their nose over Trump's racism and vote for him anyways owns a share of any rollback in rights he may lead. They have, after all, voted for it, whether they like it or not. |
