23 year old junior? Give them a break, they are probably just doing their part to make sure you graduate before Christ returns.

I assume he's doing a four-year, which would mean he started at 19 or 20. I don't understand what's wrong about that. Gap years are fairly common.

Correct! I am doing a 4 year degree. School has come not easy for me but I have made it this far. I was in community college for 4 years before I earned my associates so that I could transfer.

Love your parents and cherish the fact they are involved in your life. Forgive them the intrusion, as they have surely overlooked plenty of yours. Rant away! Much better to do it here than direct it at your loving parents.

Kudos to you for being in school and pursuing a higher education. It does not come easy for many of us as you stated. That will make it that much more of an accomplishment when you achieve your degree.
