RE: Guys do you believe Howard Storm's NDE?

I wondered why he kept opening up that artery. I just thought he was self-harming to feed his martyr complex.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Was he in fact near death, or was he simply afraid of dying - because it sounds a lot more like the latter by his own account. Don't you have be, you know, near death to have an NDE?
If you value anecdotes, I was probably as near to death in 2013 as he was and I recall no such experience. Maybe Jesus was asleep at the switch that day?
I very much doubt that his "experience" was rooted in any kind of reality.

That sounds a little hard to believe. On my best day I can only come up with about three...

This.
As soon as I read that, my first thought was, what an utter load of bullshit. First of all, if anyone understands the Law of Color and how a color wheel is used, then you would understand how secondary, tertiary and complementary colors are created and used.
Anyone who thinks there are more than three primary colors, is a total fucking idiot.

Yeah, but you gotta add the spiritual colours which aren't on the colour wheel.
Cosmic Infra Red
Fluro Meth Blue
Acid Rush Yellow
My favourite: Pure Baby Jesus Glitter White

Ha ha... you're still using red, blue and yellow. Incidentally, white isn't really a color as it really contains all of the visible wavelengths of light. Coincidentally, black is the absence of light.

He was a former arts prof so in his NDE he saw 80 new primary colours, and he was able to predict world events in the future. He became a priest afterwards. What do you guys think, assuming he was not lying about his experience?
I think he was lying about his experience - and probably about a lot more. He's also most likely a nut-job. Brain is a fragile thing, you'd think, that if one should ever be skeptical of any testimony, it should be that of a person, who's brain was oxygen-deprived, for a significant amount of time.
If I got knocked on the noggin and told everyone I saw fairies - everyone would think, that I'm just brain-damaged. But if I said I'd seen something, that confirmed their wishes regarding the afterlife - they'd fall over themselves, trying to suck my d*ck. People are stupid and gullible, especially when their fear of death is being manipulated by charlatans, trying to make a buck on a bullsh*t story.
NDEs are just modern fairy-tales for dim people. Advanced technology makes actual "miracles" much more difficult to manufacture, so now all we get is stories of what some a**hole saw in his dream. Pathetic...

I died 3 times. Required resuscitation each time and eventually the doctors got me stable. I experienced nothing during those events and by nothing, I mean oblivion. No heavenly gates, no hellish lakes of fire.
Must mean that the 'separation from God' Christians are right!

People tell lies . There are 80 undiscovered primary colors. Which is more likely?
