The ambiguities and uncertainties of the past have given way to current year, where transtrending feminists cling religiously onto their never-static false genders, and project them on impressionable youngsters.

The early example in this thread is of a pair of lesbians likely educating their son on the evils of toxic masculinity, and without the boy having any male role models, he is likely registering that his mothers give him more stuff and pay more attention to him when he pretends to be what they wanted him to be. 

The chance that the child of trans-studying gender studies-majoring lesbian parents is *actually* suffering from gender dysphoria is... well, then again, it is current year. Seriously though. No 8 year old is *suffering* from gender dysphoria. Not unless they very very early to puberty... because it's during puberty that you suddenly really become very acutely aware that your genitalia ain't how you want to bang, and that it really begins to affect ya in a severe psychological (and even physical) manner.

Also, fun fact... I don't care HOW SEVERE your puberty takes your body in the wrong direction: if you start hormones around 16-20? You're going to look like pretty much any other woman in the world by 25. Is it pleasant? No. Will it prevent the staggering suicide attempt rates? Debatable... because if you push a child down the wrong path, you've inflicted a cruelty far worse than neglect or overcaution (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Reimer).

8 is simply too early. Maybe you can talk about hormones if a teenager of the 14-18 variety has been absolutely static for more than 2-4 years, but I strongly believe that this must be the exception of great effort by battery of tests, significant psychologist participation, and socialization with peers... it is a severe mental illness that often occurs beside various anxieties and disorders... it shouldn't be celebrated by anybody, and if someone is making the claim of it: it is incredibly likely that gender dysphoria is not the only delight their existence has granted them.

One should never take their child's claiming transsexualism as anything less than a mental illness that features tremendous association with social awkwardness. Combating that social awkwardness by encouraging self-love and practice while they're young will improve their chances at making it in the world regardless, and >may< even see gender dysphoria evaporate as they find a comfortable place in the world to be themselves within their natural gender (take with grain of salt, unproven hypothesis).

Any way you slice it, completely entertaining gender dysphoria from the very moment it is claimed has incredible potential to screw up a confused kid for life.

First you come in with the bullshit of "They have no male role model!" which is the classic homophobe excuse for why Lesbians shouldn't be allowed to adopt.  Of course this is FUCKING IGNORING the fact that these two women have OTHER SONS.  Cause you know, only dad's can be male role models in a child's life.  Not siblings, teachers, friends, Uncles, or anything else...
