Would you wear "the mark of the beast" on your T-shirt?

Looks like a half-baked bio-hazard symbol. But I really saw a 6 and two 9's. And all sorts of people would come up and ask what the 699 symbol was for. They would make bad "69" jokes. No thanks.

So I guess a lot of folks in this thread seem to think they are not guilty of pride?
You don't find your clothes to be a form of ornamentation? I don't know if I would necessarily choose to have this in my wardrobe but you guys are acting like this is such an in-your-face design and it is really not. Your average rock or heavy metal fan wears shirts far more "offensive" or in-your-face than this.

True, but the thing is that with band shirts what you're communicating is your support of the musicians and by wearing a shirt with just a 'satanic' symbol, well, it may come across as trying to be 'edgy'. I don't really care what people wear personally, but I can understand why it could seem gimmicky to some. To be honest though, I don't think many people would recognize this symbol at all. First time I've ever seen it and I recall having a whole lecture on 'bad' symbols back in the day (and now I sound old :|). You ever read some heavy metal lyrics? Some of that shit tries so hard to be edgy that I cringe just listening to it. I don't buy that someone wearing a motley crue t shirt with the depiction of demons on the front is simply innocently "supporting the band" and isn't at all aware of how those images come across to other people. All clothing is a form of ornamentation. Unless of course your walk around in tattered rags that do just enough to cover your naked body. I get where you guys are coming from but it's a little off the mark. All clothing is a statement of some sort. Even if that statement is saying, "I'm a normal, boring person who only wears solid colors with no graphics or designs."
