I don't believe that utter rot for one second Atlas.

Yes the Quran might say that, in practice though that is not the truth and we can all see it. No person ever hung on charges of heresy, blasphemy, apostasy or homosexuality ever went to the gallows wanting to be put to death. That's complete bollocks.

There is compulsion in a state run by theocratic law, or in immigrant communities in the West where it is pressured to follow the religion, or at least be quiet about it if you don't follow. Period. We can go back and forth about whether that's "authentic" or "true Islam" but that's irrelevant, when it's still the reality millions of people live in across the world.

Judgment day is the dot a Muslim should draw; I drew it; and it's better for me to get wasted for killing an innocent soul than to stand in front of God with that blood on my hand.

I would walk to the gallows if I killed an innocent soul. 

These courts are not legal. Many sentences they read and execute are contradicting the constitution called "The Quran".

When a parent is gone, the child misses a very big source of natural balance. We are not robots; the kid can be something beautiful, but the temptation for turning into a bad thing is so big.

It's not fair for a child to go through all that. That's why the lashing sentence makes sense from my perspective.

It's not fair for a child to go through all that. That's why the lashing sentence makes sense from my perspective.

I think it's going overboard to punish people for having sex but I do wish people would use contraceptives when children are not desired.

The thing that gets me when people like you argue this, is that you only ever say this to us. Where are the scores of "that's not real Islam!" type Muslims actually saying this shit to the people they don't consider real Islam? I'm not seeing it.

And I know why. Because to challenge the Saudi regime, or the Iranian Mullahs, or ISIS, gets you a fast-track one-way ticket to the chopping block. And that brings us neatly back to square 1; there is compulsion in (their) Islam.

Humans cannot be trusted to consider the interest of each other. When a couple is horny, it's a turn off to cut the act and discuss protection so unwanted newborns come in.

Believe me, torture is so hauntingly scary. Before the chop, they do terrible things to people. The worse fate you might face in this life is imprisonment in an Arab country. You know; discussing the religion of the state is considered "a political charge"; they will give it a "religious name", then throw you in a torture cell, for years and years, then chop your head, or just leave you to rot until you die.

You saw Syria for sure. The regime bombed its own civilians with chemical weapons. The stories we hear is even more scary. Chemical bombardment is a mercy compared to the cells of Muslim leaders.
