Atheism doesn't require evidence. Just as you don't require evidence to lack belief in Santa or the tooth fairy.

Atheism claims God does not exist so it needs evidence otherwise you are going blind.

I don't have a lack of belief but I believe Santa doesn't exist because he could have been found by now at the north pole.

There you go. You just shat on your own argument. We don't need evidence. We have a lack of evidence for your camp's claim, just as you have a lack of evidence for Santa Claus. Not seeing something is not evidence, it is a lack thereof, by the way, just in case you can't follow this interaction.

Last time, atheism doesn't make any claim! Atheism in it's most basic sense is LACK of belief. One who does not believe. How can you fail to get that?

Theist = belief in god

Atheist = No belief in god

I haven't said anything about my faith whether I am a theist, atheist or agnostic.

I was just trying to find out why you believe God does not exist if you have no evidence for it?
