Yeh the first person I spoke to doesn't represent all Muslims.
It's obviously a mixed bag.
There's the Muslims who would say the terrorists aren't real Muslims, the Muslims who don't have anything to say and the ones who celebrate the deaths.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

Most of them are born where they kill, now. Including this most recent one. He was born and raised in Manchester
His parents were refugees, as your own link mentions. The idea was that refugees and other immigrants would come to the West, see that secular society was better, and adopt our ways. With some groups that happens. With some Muslims, we're now seeing that it doesn't.
People lock their doors at night to keep danger out, even though it also keeps out someone who might be harmless and just looking for a place to sleep. Why is it radical or evil to apply the same principal at the national level?

"The Tsarnaev family emigrated in 2002 to the United States,[17][169][172][173] where they applied for political asylum, settling in Cambridge, Massachusetts.[100]"
Again, you need to look past such statistics and think for yourself. Maybe these people don't meet the technical definition of refugee, but no one's saying that we should only be looking at refugees either, so it's not much of a point.

Yes people have a right to a trial in the west, but um, just heard the bomber's father say "He is innocent"...
DUDE he blew himself up! That makes it far easier to identify someone.

Yes, I base certain positions on fear. Yes, I fear a society in which your child goes to a concert and gets killed by a terrorist. I'm not apologetic about it, as it's common sense. European politicians have been saying that they'll just have to live with terrorism now. I don't want to live in that world if it's avoidable. So far, America has been affected less than Europe due to geography, and I'd like to keep it that way.
I'm not going to put my children at risk because you feel better about yourself for virtue signaling.

Baseless? Children were just blown up by the son of refugees. This shit is really happening. That you find the odds of personally being affected by such acceptable doesn't negate the facts. There is a basis for fear. That's why they call it terrorism.

Bold etc. mine. The immigration status of the parents is irrelevant. You can't punish the parents for the crimes of their children any more than you can punish the children for the crimes of their parents.
So back in the real world, immigrants of all kinds are busy horrifically adding to GDP whilst simultaneously terrifyingly providing employment and perniciously paying their taxes.
And, back to the subject of nutters...

Wait, people don't talk about Christianity terrorizing Africa? I do. Performing painful "exorcisms" on and casting out toddlers is one of my favorite dinner party talking points.
In all seriousness, though, I thought people knew what importing Christianity to Africa had done.

Yea and European colonialism brought segregation to South Africa, mass murder to India. It has also imported homophobia to African nations.
And there are sects of African Christianity that are as violent as some sects of Islam.
I'd suggest to those ignoring Christian history, if you think it is 100% peaceful, that is bullshit google "Lord's Resistance Army"
To all reading this, Shell B nor I bring this up to deflect critics of Islam or the Koran, but to say you cant simply single out one religion. Humans make up all religions, and humans have always had the capability of both compassion and cruelty and if you forget that, and stupidly assume a religious label magically makes one only do good, you can potentially set yourself up for a future to do those same things.

And yet, if you're consistent, you think Africa should continue to import Christianity.
Other countries do stupid shit isn't a good argument for my country to do stupid shit.

If they hadn't been allowed in, those 22 people would probably be alive today.
