I know from a previous thread that there are some people who actually prefer to use Comic Sans because it's apparently more readable for people with dyslexia. What kind of jackass makes Jokerman their default?

Going by the grammar, there's a good chance it could have been a black activist, or maybe it's just a white person with extremely poor grammar. Maybe it's a white person trying to make it look like a black person is faking a hate crime, so that's why the grammar is so poor? Who knows?

And, seriously, a serious business letter typed in fucking Jokerman? That font that shouldn't be used for anything more formal than announcements for Taco Tuesdays. That font makes it a bit hard to take the author seriously.

Why would ebonics not be a thing? I'm not quite following what you're trying to get at here. Now, there is no super obvious ebonics in the letter because they may have been trying to cover up their true identity if it were a fake hate crime, but if it read "I'm feelin some type a way and finna take my kids out the daycare so you best quit trippin", you wouldn't call that ebonics? Ebonics is not a "thing"?How do you figure that?

Yep. The guy's a low-budget movie producer, and has done horror movies. He knows how to make such a scene.

He's not. When this went viral the police looked into it and said they had not received a report on the incident, and they checked the local hospitals and there weren't any matching incidents. Also note some little things like his watch is nice and clean, he doesn't have a hospital ID band on, and the nurse's ID card is flipped backwards.

People love to scream "FAKE" because they don't want to believe stuff like this happens.  And some love to scream it because it allows them to close their eyes when it really happens.  

But shit like this happens all the time.  My daughter got a letter in the mail from someone in her neighborhood that was really nasty.  All because she and her wife adopted kids.  Hell, one of my neighbors got a nasty letter from one of the neighbors in our neighborhood because their dog pissed in her yard.  People are fuckin' terrible.
