My checkbook balanced went it should not have.

It was the strangest thing -- I misrecorded one transaction and forgot another, and yet, my Microsoft Money program said that my account had balanced. Of course, the two errors canceled exactly to produce a positive result! And, I could not help but wonder that in an ocean full of chemicals without any predators how a simple mistake could not have given rise to something positive!

Obviously, celebrate by going out and bouncing a bunch checks.

Ha, ha! I have been "clean" now for several years!!
Still, it was a bit of a "transcendental" experience for me; I was sitting there thinking, "How in the hell did this happen?" Was it chance or was it design??
