My mom used to mix cranberry jelly and applesauce to make cranberry and apple sauce. It tasted rather nice but she called it "crapple."

Christmas we start in the Christmas Eve hehe... when the first star appears in the sky, we sit down to the Christmas Eve dinner..
and then it starts ......lots of food the more dishes the better and only those that we eat on this Christmas Eve , and after dinner presents ... lots of presents ..., and this is a part of the Christmas that I like the most and what i don't like ... hmmm I don't know, maybe sometimes i wouldn't like to go to a family ... from one to another, but just spend Christmas at home ... in my sweet home
"Alone is what I have. Alone protects me."
“I may be on the side of the angels but don’t think for one second that I am one of them.” “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day."
My Meetup group meets for lunch at a large local Chinese restaurant.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
We used to leave gifts for the kids from Santa Christ.
Now that they're grown and on their own, I don't really have a tradition. I'll be working on Christmas anyway, so it doesn't matter. Baaah . . . fucking humbug! Jesus knew the real meaning of "getting hammered" ... but he incorporated it into his Easter festivities. The last words of Jesus, "I didn't know this is what he meant when Judas told me he'd get me nailed in Jerusalem!" Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
In my family everyone takes their Christmas Eve dump after our huge dinner and all the sweets that come afterwards.... hopefully this happens before midnight mass lol.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

My kid and I dress up to the nines and go see the Sacramento Ballet perform The Nutcracker. Saturday will be the 8th year we've gone. Watching it with a live orchestra - perfection. The Waltz of the Snowflakes scene is hands-down my favorite moment of the entire season.
