If christians don't do good because of fear or reward, then why does Jesus mention Hell and Heaven?
Because they are real and you can only have the one you choose. Jesus is telling us what each is like.

You can do good things for others and still be lost in your sins. Hell is for those who are unforgiven and sin can only be forgiven through Christ, you know the one you have rejected.

Keep believing that and when you die we will see who was right. I already know actually and it would behove you to find out what I know. The choice is yours of coarse and ultimately your eternal destination is your responsibility, meaning you will have no one to blame but yourself.
