Yes, if you are willing to show Him you will listen.

GC

I am willing to listen but didn't hear anything.

No you did not experience anything, you only thought you did. Our species perceptions are notoriously flawed. You wanted to see it, nothing more.

You made the claim I can't prove it.

And the claim is true.

What's his favorite color?  Or song?  Does he consider pineapple a legitimate pizza topping?  Have you two ever had an argument?  Have you ever had a differing opinion than him?

Really? No answers? That's funny. I know all sorts of things about the people I have relationships with.

Like, my mom. Her favorite color is purple. She likes pineapple, but doesn't usually have it on pizza. We've definitely argued, and don't always see eye-to-eye. She loves old westerns like Gunsmoke.

Or my best friend. Her favorite color is green. I'm not sure of her pizza leanings (she's never objected to pepperoni, but has never suggested anything else), but she's more of a pasta person anyway. We've definitely bickered. I tend to be more socially liberal than her.

Or my other friend. His favorite color used to be black, but that was back during his goth phase, so it may have changed. He doesn't eat pizza anymore, but loves Indian food. Amazingly, we've never really fought. He tends to ask me for advice.

See, when you have an actual relationship with someone, there's an actual interaction. A give and take. Shared experiences. It's entirely different than imagining the response of a creature whose attributes that are only described in a book. An actual relationship is dynamic and immediate.

That's what makes it so pointless.  Every time some nutter tells us he netflix and chills with god...it starts a timer on how long it will take for it to turn out to be a person talking to themselves -and getting a response-, as a nutter does.

People who make this claim in earnest rather than tongue in cheek would be committed except for the brute fact of it's mind numbing commonality.

Through prayer with an open heart and mind. You have to want him to receive Him.

It's your responsibility to prove the FSM, Jesus on the other hand has been mentioned in writings outside the scriptures. Even if you use only the scriptures they're still recorded writings and you can't show me they are not true. Tell me can you prove a man named Shakespeare wrote plays?

GC

About other writings which mention Jesus.

You might say that Dusty doesn't know what he's talking about, then try to search for documents yourself and verify how true they are.

Quote:I know God is real I've experienced Him in a personal relationship, just because you haven't doesn't mean others haven't. None of those other gods have ever tried to reach out to me so there is no reason to believe in them. Post the FSM's book here so we can read it. Prove God is made up.

GC

And many others experienced other Gods in a personal relationship, just because you haven't doesn't mean others haven't. Your God hasn't ever tried to reach out to them so there's no reason to believe in Him. FSM Wink

You have dodged my questions, do you not have an answer for them?

GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
