Hmmm I guess what you're suggesting might be the possiblity of not an atheist religon but more of a sort of atheistic 'cult'.
Well the true definiton of atheism is nothing more than strong disbelief in God and the supernatural. Or just God.
Futhermore atheism is based on evidence and science. And science does not have rules of morality so neither does 'true' atheism. Atheism does not need absolute rules....the beliefs, morals and rules of atheists vary from atheist to atheist. The only similarity is the strong disbelief in any God, gods - and as is often the case anything supernatural at all.

I don't need further proof of gods non-existence since I have convinced myself based on the evidence that he does not exist. Also,I base my unbelief on comparative religion and cultural studies.I believe religion in general is the creation of man in his ignorance and curiousity to understand the world around him.Especially at a time when the sciences were not as developed as they are today.
Everything that at the time was unexplainable is attributed to god or in some polytheistic societies gods. Now I view religion as mythology but most peoples concept of religion is derived from tradition and societal influences rather than reason and common sense.

I also am convinced there is no God...but not entirely convinced because I can't 'know' there's no God or gods; or any form of Supernature. It's incredibly incredibly incredibly recurring unlikely that Supernature does exist.... but I still think it would be a big and unrealistic jump to truly 'know' there's no Supernature.

before i talk about if i think atheism requires faith. i prolly should define it.
1 a: allegiance to duty or a person : loyalty b (1): fidelity to one's promises (2): sincerity of intentions2 a (1): belief and trust in and loyalty to God (2): belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion b (1): firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2): complete trust3: something that is believed especially with strong conviction
i think atheism requires no faith simply because by one of the definitions "belief in somthing that has no proof" when we have plenty of proof against a god. so its not blind like faith is. most of the other ones deal with religion. which we do not follow, hence that is not really useful. at the bare minimum we have faith due to the very last definition of faith but that is even questionable.

if you are an atheist you need a support of atheism reality force being source of positive life that would justify yourselves being atheists connected to that reality ground by your sense of it in you, your faith
self cannot be real by itself awareness alone of being real, to get real objectively self must project himself in a reality he knows how it justifies him being its living soul

I now believe that atheism CAN be a faith....in the sense that you can believe 100% there is no God even though there is obviously a POSSIBILITY of a God (and you're denying it) ....therefore you fill up the tiny possibility of God with FAITH (because there's no evidence for this) that there just ISN'T a possibility....which is false.
However I would now call that a sort of pseudo-atheism because it contains faith to some extent. But it is still atheism because this pseudo-atheism still doesn't believe in God.
So to conclude: pseudo-atheism is like a faith because atleast to a small extent it IS based on faith.....but it is still atheism because pseudo-atheists don't believe in God...regardless of if that belief is atleast partly based on faith and not entirely on evidence.

I dont have faith that there is no god I truly have been convinced by the things I have learned about the topic to make a judgement call on this issue.I have no need for a god in my life and dont really see a place for a god in this world.Except to comfort the weak of mind and will.

I would say atheism is never a faith ... but then I don't believe generic theism is a faith either.
To my mind both are simply labels and to have faith you have to adopt a brand of theism (or atheism I suppose though I don't know of any).
