Not a proof. All that can be concluded from your hypotheses is that we don't know where is originates.
Of course, in reality, we strongly suspect it originates from human biology.

So find that reminder from God and strive, and don't hate the chosen families, and love them for they are the means to God and the way to recognize yourself.
I got to go for today.

I tried expressing this formally. This is what I came up with. MK, feel free correct any errors I might have made.
1. Goodness in all possible worlds has one definition and reality.
2. W e know it's possible goodness originates from God.
3. We don't know it's possible it originates from anything else.
Therefore, goodness is proven to be from God.
Let's just assume all the premises are true so we can examine the logic. I don't think this follows. Premise 2 and 3 do nothing to support the conclusion. Let's plug in some different variables.
2. We know it's possible the taffy originates from the local candy factory.
3. We don't know it's possible the taffy originates from anywhere else.
Therefore, the taffy is proven to be from the local candy factory.
I think you have an argument from ignorance here. I could be wrong, but the fact remains this does not follow. Anyone care to figure out which fallacy?

No, more likely I would hypnotize myself into believing that a god had responded if I did those things. It is very easy to imagine things -- far easier than actually finding a demonstrably real god.

I think you have an argument from ignorance here. I could be wrong, but the fact remains this does not follow. Anyone care to figure out which fallacy? Technically? While the overall context of the argument is, as you pint out, an argument from ignorance...the specific non sequitur in his formulation was an affirmation of the consequent. A failure to identify necessary and sufficient condition in the conclusion, coupled with a reaffirmation of an uninformative premise in relation to the conclusion. Your taffy example demonstrates that well. Another simple one;
Ducks are birds. Ducks swim in the water. Chickens are birds. Therefore chickens swim in the water.
While it may be true that ducks are birds...as it may be true that there is some specific and singular definition of goodness...
While it may be true that ducks swim in the water, as it may be true that it's at least possible for some goodness to come from a god.....
That does not mean that because something is goodness it comes from a god, any more than a chicken being a bird means it swims in the water like a duck.
Not only is the conclusion a malformed reaffirmation of the second premise itself..it certainly does not follow from that malformed premise that there is a god or that there are marine chickens.

no one sane can honestly believe a bare assertion like that is an argument let alone a proof of anything
So, what is your definition of "goodness"? And if I bring forth a different definition of goodness than yours, would you admit that I have disproved your god?
I have defined goodness time and time again. What is your definition?
And you don't really get it do you. You really can't grasp that not only does a non-corrupt state morality require a god, but more so had there been gods or even more so, had there been any other God then the true God, or even more so, had it been anything other then his name which he chosen for himself, it would be totally corrupt and misguidance all together.
It would a corrupt state the link between heavens and earth would be an illusion, and there we be no higher or lower, and there would be no ascent or descent, and there would be no good and evil really but just plain corruption, and not only that, but since love has a relationship with everything, how it appreciates everything include outer forms, nothing could really exist.
Love is the true essence of life, and it's the valuer who knows what it values.
When you grasp it, that it doesn't matter what an idiot says morality is, that by definition it can only have one reality and one definition, then everything becomes clear over time.
But you want to escape his vision and judgment, but that is what defines you, and there is no loss in falling in love with the source of creation, and appreciating it's existence and following it's guidance and asking it's forgiveness and holding on to hope over despair, love over hate, appreciation over disappointment.
Peace with you friend.
So your definition of "goodness" is basically whatever you think this god entity dictates? and it has to be your particular god or else it is "corrupt"? lol. You do know what a circular argument is, don't you?
