The truth of Atheism

And I've had to cut and run, escaping on short notice from a house I used to own (and never did set foot in again), to prevent a potential murder-suicide. Didn't even occur to me that night, or over the subsequent months of dealing with police, lawyers, DV counsellors and others, to petition Drich's god for help. The reason is simple: I've never believed in Drich's god. If I had been looking for divine help, I could have just as easily opened the Dungeons and Dragons resource book Deities and Demigods to a random page, closed my eyes, and selected a random god. I would have found that considerably more useful -- If I can only role-play belief anyway, I might as well go with something that admits it's just role-playing. Why do online Christians like Drich always seem to know atheists convenient for their claims when I didn't knowingly meet my third atheist until I was over 40?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
I haven't even thought about God for a second in times of need since I've stopped believing. Pretty irrelevant to my life now
Imagining a situation where I'm about to be murdered. The guy is stomping through my house looking for me.
"Oh Tooth Fairy, please help me find a way out please please please and I'll devote my life to you forever!" Hell no. I would be way too busy either searching for an exit strategy or a weapon.

Then by himself he gives up on theism and seeks mercy from God, and in one reality he goes balls out begging God for help mercy and in the others he seeks forgiveness for his sins, but when Rick is saved.. and his prayers answered, it all goes back to "Eff you God" Given the right circumstances, some atheists probably would "snap". I think that is what has happened to Dr. Francis Collins. While he was a doctor, I believe that he had a patient die on him, and he could not cope with the loss, and so, he "got religion". Been there myself. (February 12, 2018 at 11:25 am)Drich Wrote: You guys are reading too far into the clip.Baloney. I can safely say that the only time I cry out "OHHHHHH GOD!!!!" is in a context you likely disapprove of. RE: The truth of Atheism

I've only been to visit a few times... the land of gloomier weather than England... if such a thing is possible... and an almost total lack of road signs |
