Fixed that for you.

I think that's possibly the most disappointing thing i have seen you say Neo.

I'm amazed when people say that because you would prefer that guns be taken from the population or have much stricter controls, than more guns be put in schools, that the conclusion is that you ask if people value their children.

What kind of twisted mind comes up with that. ?

No it was far more accurate the first time . Guns were designed to kill people . The killer was using the gun for the purpose it was designed for mass killing. Nowhere  is there a label on a gun saying "only to used by good people to kill bad people . The gun works just as well in the hands of a deranged monster as a saint . Probably better considering the monster fewer scruples and far less to lose .

Say you have a teacher with a gun. Say a kid starts shooting up the school. The teacher risks their life and tracks down the kid and shoots them. At the same time, the police burst in, or maybe one of the “armed guards” is already there. They see a teacher shooting a student. What do they do?

Tensions are already high. A teacher is going to get mistaken for an active shooter at some point.

A teacher insane enough to carry a gun in school can’t be shot soon or often enough.

True enough. Knives are 5 times more likely than a gun to be used as the murder weapon. But the Ammophobics will say you cannot do a mass murder with a knife, which is also true. That's why they make rental vans and pressure cookers.

And yes to a short-medium term plan to lower the presence of guns.

And a world without nuclear weapons would be awesome too! How do you think the world would look today if the USA had unilaterally disarmed itself during the Cold War? I'll tell you. We'd be waiting in 2 hour lines to buy potatoes. Unilaterally disarming the law abiding populace leaves them vulnerable. Remember, when seconds count the police are only minutes away. Ask any liquor store owner.

And if the pinko leftists on AF really truly believed that Trump was ushering in a new era of fascism they sure as hell wouldn't want to the Trump regime to be the only people with guns.

America is not the world.

You are displaying typical theist binary thinking in saying that it's either weapons or not having weapons. Fact is you can kill and wound more people more quickly with an AR 15 than with a hand gun or a bread knife.
Where did I say America is the world? Wow!

Where did I say it’s weapons or no weapons? Wow!

Your fact says nothing more than what I already stated in this thread in another post where I agreed. However, The point of my original post wasn’t the number of people a weapon can kill. Simply that even if you took all weapons away people would kill. And it’s highly possible that they could devise methods that would kill more people over time due to stealth. Methods devised due to pressures.

Wow. I think some folks on here are just trying to prod people to get a rise. LOL

We know that.  Try getting through your thick head that what we are talking about is efficiency.  There is a reason why 2/3 of all homicides involve guns.  Killing people is the one thing they do well.

You know, relating things like bread knives, cutlery, which does have a perfectly good purpose and is designed for eating or some other useful reason with a object designed to fire a projectile to kill is beyond reason.

Yes of course people would use other ways to kill,  In the US there has been an average of a school shooting every week so far in 2018

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/f...any-so-far

However how can taking away the most deadly and popular method be a bad thing ?  I doubt there would have been 1/10 of the deaths had the person had to actually chase the victims down instead of having a device where you can stand in a doorway trapping people in a room and killing them one by one.

Simply not true:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1953...apon-used/
http://uk.businessinsider.com/mass-shoot...?r=US&IR=T

Handguns were by far the most popular murder weapon used in the US in 2016. That year 7,105 people were murdered with handguns. Knives or cutting instruments were the second most popular weapon used, with 1,604 murders committed with a knife.

Hey, hey, hey ... give the teachers weapons? to better protect students? this is the dumbest idea I've ever heard!!!
do you know that teachers are one of the most frustrated group of employees?
right after the doctors most often they fall into alcohol ...
and you think it would be good to give them a gun?
I do not think so.
I was a teacher myself and believe me, sometimes I would gladly use a weapon ...ok i'm joking ...but i know people who could do this if only have the gun!
