Personally I strongly doubt that it's Randy. In my opinion he was one of the better theists to pass through this site. I just doubt that he's ever socked; I think he would just gracefully accept his ban and move on. Obviously that's just my opinion but nonetheless those are my two cents.

I think a lot of what Dawkins say might be harsh but true.  That quote is pretty much true, people might be offended because calling someone ignorant is obviously seen as offensive. Everyone in this forum has been ignorant at some point concerning evolution, people aren't born with innate comprehension and education about evolution.  
I think there are people who purposefully ignore learning about evolution or people who just don't get around to it because it doesn't pop up in everyday life.  I was fairly ignorant concerning evolution until I was about 25 or 26.

I taught math and physics at a private school to (mostly) movie industry brats for a couple of years. I agree with your assessment. They were mostly tame, but had attitudes you wouldn't believe. The parents generally appeared to rely on the school to teach their children discipline, which is a recipe for disaster.

As far as who this current joker is, I've seen enough of this behavior on the internet that I consider them to be generic windup toys. They are everywhere, and remind me of that battery-powered monkey of my youth, which my wife dearly hates (and so do I)
