It does seem that some Q lost their capacity for fun... but I want to be one of the fun ones, playing around with sentient beings, buhahaha!! GOD!!!

Each drone is like a finger in your body.... mindless on its own, but a useful part of the whole. Always finding the most efficient way to solve a problem and drawing upon countless cubic meters of grey matter neatly coupled with CPU power! Accept your only purpose is too force other being who want to be a cubic meter into being . As for playing with beings that would get boring fast.

I liked DS9 all the way through... same with TNG and TOS (although the latter had a mixed bag of a third season). The only show that got really bad was Voyager. The final two seasons (excepting some rare gems) was almost unwatchable. Every other episode was about Seven or EMH. Those were very interesting characters at the outset, but the writers wore them out.

I've seen every single Star Trek television show (except Discovery and TAS) and every single movie. I started watching syndicated TNG episodes when I was a teenager and loved it. I'm not a huge fan of the Abrams movies. They're okay, but (to me) it's not Trek. One thing that really appeals to me about Trek is Gene Roddenberry's optimistic vision of the future. I hope that as technology advances, humankind will solve the problems of poverty, racism, and war (at least on our own planet).

I wasn't a fan of DS9 at first... and didn't watch voyager while it was on the air, but I have come to like both of them. I actually did like the Enterprise series, anymore; I think I just like all things Trek. I really liked the Abrams new movies, although the last one seems to have gone down hill somewhat. I always enjoyed Star Trek for the psychological and philosophical issues that it provoked.

Don't get me wrong, I did like the whole thing, I just preferred the end where I was pretty much on the edge of my seat for episode after episode. Gotta say though, I found the whole Bajoran storyline (and race) very boring so those were the episodes I dreaded the most; bit too 'spiritual' and mundane for my liking...and on similar lines anything when they enacted basically some period drama in the holosuite... ie I want spaceships and stuff in my Star Trek, not historical dramas... so those were the other episodes I dreaded
Anyway I saw TNG a long time ago when I was a teenager, DS9 more recent than that. Probably only seen one or two random episodes of TOS... I dunno, Kirk just gets on my nerves but that's probably more from the image I have of him now than what he was like in TOS... nowadays he just seems sleazy in everything I've seen him in, which granted isn't much. But I did like The Voyage Home film (the one with the whales) so that's basically... apart from a few Tribbles ... my only experience of TOS. Voyager as well, I've only seen a few episodes of, and the one after that, with the guy from Quantum Leap, I haven't seen any of at all... it just looks a bit too modern and un-Star Trek-like for me... iow there's comfort in the corniness

I love the original it had some really stand out episodes on "Eugenics" Racism " Class warfare" The cold war" Slavery" Proxy wars " And best take downs of religion i have seen "
I hated season 1 of TNG. But 3 on was excellent . Seeing Data's quest to be human . Worf walking the line between two very different cultures. And Picard in his many guises , Artist ,Diplomat, Warrior, Oralitor , Guide, Leader, has always been awesome .
DS9 took a season grow on me . But it earns it's title as the most human Star Trek .
Voyager I actually liked . Not all of it but i liked many of the characters and from season 2 on . it just clicked .
Enterprise was boring Season 1 but by 4 i loved it .

I always saw Bajorans in DS9 as nothing but professional victims.
Yes, they had a hard time during the occupation, but it seemed they just loved to milk that for all it was worth.
Two Bajorans I had time for were Ro Laren and the guy who was a legendary war hero but did nothing more than "shoot a naked man".

Kate Mulgrew as Captain Janeway. Worst.Acting.Ever. It's the main obstacle I have to liking Voyager.

Check out the clips from the woman she replaced in the role.
Far worse.
