Theists, please describe how you experience your god

The Torah iterates what I preach/say very well. It's sad most humans can't see it.

Yabut... people experience these fake gods right now. And they claim to have all sorts of experiences, sometimes including god talking to them. So either all religions are actually equivalent and god doesn’t give a shit which one you follow, or millions of people are experiencing nothing at all. There could be multiple gods of course, but as I said, it’s the people doing the experiencing who deny this.

This all reminds me of my ”personal relationships with deities” thread.

No one claims experience to God directly, even the Prophet experienced God through Signs (which was him and his family in the higher realms unseen forms and sky/light realites). Of course in the spiritual world, there is false Angels and true Angels, just as in the outward world, there is false guides and true guides.

What is your argument exactly?

That is simply not true.

Seeing God is expressed in prayers of almost all mystics of all religions, but they all explain it's not the true self of God which is beyond all vision.

If you show me one claiming to see the full direct reality of God as he sees himself, I will withdraw that statement.

I've never even seen a mentally ill person claim that, let alone, others.

Moving the goalposts won't help you, Mystic. As a matter of record, Little Rik claims to experience God in his meditations, and GC claims to 'know' God from his experience. Whether they claim to experience the full direct reality of God is as irrelevant as it is dependent upon the specific beliefs of the individual as to what that would be and whether knowledge of such is indeed possible.

So the differences in knowledge each religion claims to have about god are essentially meaningless, I guess. God can’t be both known and highly mysterious. It’s people floundering in the dark but somehow getting results they are certain of.

(So certain some will even kill people who disagree.)

Killing apostates, killing gays, not giving women right to divorce with same right as men, etc..  a lot to say the least.
Then go deal with that.  Take your Mystic approved whiteout edition of magic book and preach it where it counts.  To muslims.

Ok, I will let them explain what they meant.

My statement from what I perceive didn't contradict that, you misinterpret it to contradict it, but you are getting my statement from the wrong angle.

For example, I would say yes Mohammad experience and saw God, but not directly as in see his full self and reality as God sees himself.

Rather it's through Signs and proofs which is light and beauty connected to him.

It's hard to take these conversations seriously when you are trying to apply fallacies to simple argue and not understand and move forward in dialogue.

PS: religions are not complementary, they are at odds.
