Heh, I refer to my two adult sons who still live at home as my slaves. They do all gardening activities that my wife isn't capable of (and that I refuse to do!), and the middle son is doing the grunt labor on the new block wall being constructed at the front of the property. I've had to rely on the middle son for some of the heavy lifting since I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands. They now seem to be made of candy, and I can do way less than I used to be able to do. Time to talk to my doctor about that; maybe there is some therapy for it.

No quack there. But agreed, I'll probably get a referral. I was told a year for recovery, but it seems to be lagging. I suspect it's because I'm a hard-headed old man who has had to work all his life and doesn't want to wait to heal properly before he puts his body back to work...and did the work anyway, which I have been doing. Plus, I don't run crying to the doctor when I'm ailing. The end result of one episode thereof is three surgeries because of a ruptured appendix. Though I blame that primarily on the Navy Corpsman who misdiagnosed it the first time. I didn't have the knowledge to ask for a doctor, at first.

In most of Europe, it's 112 (easier to dial on those old rotary phones)... and I'm almost certain that in both regions (US and EU) they have set up some alias so these two numbers can be used interchangeably.
