Meh. Theology, systematic or otherwise, is nothing but a long series of ad hoc rationalizations trying to explain away problems with the original imagined bullshit.

It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
It should really be called the hole-y trinity. You know... because of the number of plot holes. What an utter load of nonsense.

I haven't even mentioned the Mormons take on the Trinity.
It's actually hard to discuss as none of the Mormons seems to be sure just what they've all decided it is. They did release a statement back in the 60s, IIRC, that the Holy Spirit is NOT Mrs. God. That they felt it necessary to issue such a correction indicates just how far afield they were getting on the topic . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

The man in Jesus was crying out on the cross because He was bearing the sin of all humanity when He said those words. Sorry but you are wrong again why not just simply read the Bible and find the truth. The human side of Jesus came out at that moment because even as a man He knew that bearing the sins of all people for all time would be the most horrible thing that has ever happened to any one being. The scares He carries are the physical ones from the cross. You are right the Father couldn't watch His son become sin for mankind, it wasn't what the Father was doing, it's what we have done, each one of use is responsible regardless of what you think. Guess who else couldn't watch Jesus become sin, Satan, he knew at that moment the end was sealed for him, there was no escape for what he also was responsible for. This is why Satan tried to tempt Jesus so He couldn't go to the cross and bare the worlds sins. You have a misconception as to the relationship the Father and Son have, in reality the Son is not a child He is the second part of the trinity, there is an order to the trinity and that order was what God used to define the family unit. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have always existed together, complete in all ways. Chad32 Wrote:I'm not sure what bearing the sins of the world is supposed to be, exactly. Christ took on all sin as His responsibility to bring forgiveness for all mankind. He paid the debt for all those sins so upon acceptance of Him by a amn that man can through grace receive forgiveness of his own sin. Sorry but you are wrong again why not just simply read the Bible and find the truth. You must be a former Mormon, that would be bad enough but then you took the plunge into a world devoid of the idea of God, how sad for you. God the Son is Jesus and Jesus is God the Son, there is a difference that of the capabilities when the Son was on earth and in heaven. On earth the Son laid down all His powers and authority, upon returning to heaven after the resurrection He took up what He laid down. You see know in heaven again with the Father He is in human form, He can't go back to the spirit form He once had, that was a part of volunteering to be a sacrifice for mankind, yet he still accepted the this position because of His great love for those who He has created and will create. The Son, who was the Christ of God became Jesus and upon His return to heaven He is now Jesus Christ the Son, still part of the trinity. Part of His sacrifice, what He gave up, is the way He was, Spirit, to inhabit a fleshly body for all eternity, He paid an irreversible price to save the ones He loves. Your delusional idea is ludicrous to say the least, you have no idea as to who the Triune God is or is capable. You fail at every post about God and His word, you should give up your sad attempts to discredit God, you should read His word and find the truth as it applies to your life instead. GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

There is no one in these first few pages really interested in the topic in order to learn more or clarify something they don't understand. Now will follow 8-10 pages of idiocy as people comment on something they can't even properly articulate as if they are saying something even worth the millivolt to light one pixel. Why is it impossible to articulate? It's fairly straightforward. But that's not my point. This thread and the hundred like are nothing more than: "Ahh...doctrine x--I know, let's make fun of it even though almost none of us understand it and the ones that do won't correct us anyway...that's a great pastime with so much fun, purpose, fulfillment, and intellectually-stimulating back and forth...I can't wait to get started."
Humans may be guilty of the crime, but god is responsible for the piss poor attempts at a solution. You can't lay everything at our feet, when you believe in a god that's supposed to be in charge of everything, and all powerful.
And I still don't know what bearing sin is supposed to be. It's too abstract a concept to be clear. All I know is, he still apparently thinks killing people will solve the problems of the world, when it obviously doesn't.
