Smith College employee calls cops on black student who looked ‘out of place’ eating lunch in cafeteria

An employee at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts called on campus police to investigate a “suspicious black male” whom they claimed looked “out of place” in one of the school’s cafeterias.
However, as the reports, that “black male” actually turned out to be a black female student at Smith who was eating lunch in the cafeteria while taking a break from her summer job at school.
Campus police investigated and found that there was “nothing suspicious about the student’s presence” in the cafeteria.

The cops reacted appropriately in this case.... meaning no one got shot.  But the question is how can someone look "out of place" while eating lunch in a cafeteria?  Or did they mean simply that they were "too black to eat?"

Two Spalding County jailers fired for neo-Nazi comments

Two Spalding County jailers were fired Monday after activists publicized their online comments expressing sympathy for Hitler and American neo-Nazi ideology.
“Both of these gentlemen are no longer employed by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office based on some information that came to light today,” Sheriff Darrell Dix said. “It doesn’t fit what we want to represent to the community and what we want to represent as an agency.”

Student accuses Santa Fe store clerk of racial profiling after police called

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) - A college student visiting from out of state says he was racially profiled by a Santa Fe convenience store clerk who called police, calling the student “arrogant" and "black."

KRQE News 13 spoke to the employee seen in McDowell’s video at the store Tuesday. The employee denied speaking of McDowell’s race. After KRQE News 13 showed the employee the video clip, she continued to deny speaking of McDowell’s race, then refused to speak any further about the incident.
