Yes, like or not , we are in the same boat together, if one jumps ship, how long can he tread water alone. To jump ship would only hinder the development of that person "I'm amazed with so many new ships coming on line that this hasn't been done sooner.

What makes you think you do not have a free will?
In fact, there is a quick test I can give you that shows that you do have free will. Within the limits of nature and physics that is. If you will something that goes beyond these then whatever you think free will is, is a delusion.
Care to try my test and prove it to youself?

Free will does not exist because the universe is determined. No matter how many times the same situation plays on repeat: the conclusion remains the same, for the situation has remained the same.
The universe is one big unsolved math problem Sure, we can't always tell you today what will happen tomorrow... but someday some guy on a moon in Omega Centauri X will figure it out in a laboratory, and probably with a kitchen plunger
No, I don't care to try your little test, as the test sounds like a dumb test We are often, and perhaps always, deluded... but we still know we're right ^_^

Could you clarify what has not been done sooner.

You do not know what the test is yet it is a dumb one.
Good judgment call on what you have no clue about.
Sounds like something a theist would say.

Yes I do (no matter what it is, you've a forgone conclusion. Read 'loaded'). I might be wrong, but I doubt it highly enough to not even bother taking it You didn't provide the test the moment you said you had it, not subsequent times. This is enough for me to conclude that either the test doesn't exist or you have doubts about it. I, on the other hand, am utterly certain free will does not exist and have no doubts about this whatsoever To draw to a close: the touted 'test' is crap and my understanding of the subject matter is anything but lacking

What's that, Darling? I have no clue about what you tell me I have no clue about. Sounds rather presumptuous to me. How can you stand your own arrogance?

I do not claim to be an atheist... and that I might be is irrelevant. "Drugs" sounds like something you'd buy on the street... but that is also irrelevant to what they are ^_^
I could do with a sandvich.

Funny thing about good company is it only comes when you yourself are good company.

And most of the time I'm still putting long after everyone else has moved on to the next hole
Anise: "Colonel... how did you get so strong?"
Jade: "It's simple really... I drink people's blood."
Anise: *shocked silence*
Jade: "It's so hard when people take me seriously."
Okay... maybe I am the only one who finds that double meaning hilarious.
Chalk it up to my bad joke of the day

As the elsewhere aforementioned Dr John Ellis would say about me, I'm the mistress of ambiguity. I think Epi would agree. Y'all never know when my double entendres are deliberate or not, and it'll stay that way.

Judging from what I know of you here on the forum, I would have to say they are 99% intentional, and the remaining 1% is just your subconscious protruding into the conscious part of your brain.
