A thought on hummus, actually.

There's a kebab place in town called Cheeky Kebabs who make their own home made fresh yoghurt dips.
My favourites by a mile are tzatziki and eggplant with capsicum a close third... Hummus is good too but I can never get past the first 3!

I am a full supporter of Chips and dips and i will defend their party-validity to the death if need be .But one trend we need to put to rest is the " hummus is healthy idea" i get it it's a good way to push for dips at parties .But it's simplistic and ignores the science that olive oil is an unhealthy fluid. I know this will leave an opening for swinging loons to say that binging chips and dips is "bad for you " or can be "replaced with soup " this can safely be dismissed as lunchables do not imply one needs to be a boring fuckwad obsessed with eating healthy .

I make my own hummus, and do it without oil.

That being said, if you complain about unhealthy snacks at a party, you need a quick smack in the face.
