Black widows are killed on the spot, where I am. If you aren't afraid, that's fine, but they can also make your pets sick. I also kill brown widows (which are less toxic). Most other spiders, I don't really care if they are around, except I got 8 spider bites in one day while knocking down webs. Now, all that shit is going to die, including whatever it was that drew the spiders in the first place.

Same here. I have no problem with spiders but I hate wasps. When I was about 6 years old I was attacked by a load of the bastards after unknowingly disturbing a nest. I got stung all over the place. They even got inside my shirt. My daughter hates spiders. If she sees one in her room she’ll stand on her bed and scream for help. I’ll go up, catch the spider in my hand and throw it out of the window.

Part of my concern was for the dogs...there were a lot of babies in that egg sack and the dogs are often around the pool...so, yeah, momma and babies had to go.

Other spiders I find outside are allowed to live...if they come inside though...all bets are off.  Well, sometimes those creepy spiders that carry all their babies on their backs have to die...they are just too creepy for words.  *shudder*

Just thought I should clarify that Brown Recluse Spiders get an exemption from my no-kill rule. Those are fuckers you don’t want to mess around with.
