I think there are some deceptive people that actually believe in a God or gods and just don't like Him or them that call themselves atheists.  May not be a lot but I think there are some out there.  It seems to obvious and some really smart people seem not to get it.

I know there are some of us who believe in 'something more', but to describe that as anything god-like seems a stretch.  If I like a theist I'll sometimes use 'god' as a place holder for what I really think accounts for the 'something more' in order to explore common ground.  But the something more I at least have in mind is more akin to 'human potential' or untapped human capacities which are entirely natural.  The supernatural as a category is a non-starter as far as I'm concerned, something best ignored until at least one noncontraversial exemplar for the category is demonstrated.

What will show the difference between a 'Sin' induced mutation versus a transcription induced mutation?

Incest was necessary in the beginning as there was only two humans to start with.  There was no other way to populate the Earth.

The question was serious since I believe that could potentially be the case some times.  I am not talking about all atheists, just sometimes it appears to be the case.

Yes, I know what atheism means and those that did this would not be true atheists.  They would be deceptive maltheists claiming to be atheists as I learned earlier in this thread.
