Maybe try not talking about what jebus said and rather give YOUR OWN interpretations of what the 'holy book' says. Other christians here can provide arguments without reverting to stock quotations from the bible. Why can't you?

Sorry, frustration again, I wasn't calling anyone a pig, it's a phrase that Jesus used when referring to trying to give the truth to people that refuse to even listen. I got frustrated at another member here making personally abusive remarks against me.

First, His name is Jesus and you are just denigrating my faith. I haven't made a personal remark like that to you and I am offended that you would make a remark like that. Do you do the same to ALLAH or Buddha or any other diety?

I'm not seeing personally abusive remarks. Maybe you need to take a look at how we all interact with each other before taking things personally. We give each other no quarter, either. Atheists here call out other atheists as well, so don't feel singled out.

And yes, we certainly would take the piss out of Allah or any other God. There are more Christians than Muslims, and most of us live in countries where Christianity is the prominent religion. That's why you'll see more discussion around your religion than any other.

On christian forums i have been told i'll go to hell for my beliefs and im immoral. And that im a devil for stating my beliefs in same sex marriage and my beliefs that homophobic rhetoric is immoral.

I believe that the act of homosexual sex is a sin, just the same as sex outside of marriage, stealing, lying or many other things that God decreed as sins, however, none of these sins will keep a person out of Heaven if that person accepts the fact that Jesus died to pay the penalty for their sins. Salvation is given to anyone, anywhere in the world, that accepts Jesus free gift of forgiveness.

Now, I know that some will say "What about the person that never heard of Jesus?" and all I can respond, through faith, is that God said in the Bible that He has put the knowledge of Him and a persopns need for a Saviour in the heart of every living person and if a person acknowledges their sin and their need for a Saviour (which the Jews did before Jesus was born) then they are saved.

So I could commit a mad genocide AND GET OFF SCOTT FREE! WHAT KIND OF BLACK MAGIC IS THIS!
