Except science hasn't discovered any higher intelligence and none of those answers make sense if you infer one.

Take the sun for example. It's a nuclear fusion reaction dynamically balanced on by its own gravitational attraction. It terrifyingly radioactive, dangerously unstable, and doomed to explode and kill us all sooner or later. Is this truly the mechanism that a competent Creator uses to illuminate the pinnacle of its creation?

Doomed to explode... ok well not for over 2 billion years, so I am not too concerned about that right this minute for some reason. And yes, the sun is a creation of God without doubt. We would all be dead without the sun and without the moon and without about a million other things.

I'm not aware of any evidence indicating that human beings die when they reach some unspecified level of certainty in any given thing.  That would be a serious design flaw, if it were so..given our propensity to certitude.

Everena: I am not hate filled. That would be you. I am also not Christian for like the 3rd time and I do not think you will burn in hell for all eternity, although the thought of that becomes more desirable with every sexist, condescending post you make to me. I think all religions are man made and the only pain you will ever suffer is the pain you have intentionally caused to others. And that's whether you believe in God or not. I don't think God really cares if you believe or not. Just be a good person for the sake of being one and see what happens. That would be my only advice besides to make sure you are really with your soulmate/other half, because I do think the importance of that cannot be understated.

2. What amazing things??? Are you kidding??This entire planet with food and other pleasures and  all conscious intelligent life with an enormous amount of abilities that I guess you just take for granted, but that could not have just magically happened from nothing for no reason no matter how many times you pretend it all could. Use your brain.

(2) I am using my brain thank you very much. Kindly observe: "This entire planet" is:
 - A nickel-iron core that you will never interact with chemically.
 - A silicate mantle and crust that you will only ever interact with in the most trivial manner, largely toxic ones.
 - Entire oceans to saline to drink.
 - An atmosphere composed of element that are either inert or toxic. Yes, oxygen is toxic and your body spends a vast amount of energy and resources to keep the wretched stuff from killing you. Still sound like intelligent design?

Now that we've discarded 99.999% of the planet, we can examine the vanishingly small fraction that you call amazing. Most of which will try to eat, poison, infect, or parasitize you.
