Agreed...but it does in this case.

So, respecting you means I am obliged to accept carte blanch with respect to you invading my personal space?

I think that, in this case..it's obvious that the administration confuses deference for respect, cue my earlier comments about currying favor with the king.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Carte blanche? No. But when you're in my workplace and my job requires me to invade your personal space...yes, obviously.

Exactly how do you see her job as requiring her to invade his personal space in that way? Is it her job to strong-arm anyone who doesn't do what the president wishes? Exactly what part of her job are you saying is being performed here and why does it require invading his personal space in the way she did? She's not Secret Service, for Christ's sake, she's an intern. I don't offhand know what her responsibilities are or what she's authorized to do in order to fulfill them, but I strongly suspect you don't either. Please provide me with a list of her responsibilities and where her authority to act as she did specifically is authorized.

I wouldn't characterize that as the nature of the interaction. I saw the intern's reaching out as a non-verbal prompt for Acosta to yield the floor which he refused to do. In another context, such as the Q & A period following a lecture, such behavior would have been considered, rude not just to the lecturer, but the rest of the audience as well.

They didn't have a direct quote (attributed to specific people) but I had read an article where some other reporters where said to have been tired of Acosta's grandstanding, and thinking that a press briefing was the Acosta show. I wouldn't have much patience, if someone was asking questions, and not really interested in an answer.   Just moving on, to promote their own narrative.   I don't think that is the reason for these press conferences.

Other reporters being tired of acosta, then, was both the metric and the process?  I think that if this were the case..the government would have indicated so to the judge presiding.

I don't know.... but I think that a white house press pass is a privilege, and they don't need to reveal their revoking it for an individual.  Do you think that due process of the law is required here?   If so, then they erred, as to revoke the pass would have required a judge to begin with.   My main issue is with the liberal application of the constitutional amendment for something that it doesn't say.

5th amendment rights are not a privilege, they are rights.  There was no process..and no one willing to own the decision made by no process.  It's pretty cut and dry on that count. Again, I find myself wondering what is supposed to be liberal about a federalist society trump appointees reading?

It doesn't matter who appointed the judge or what are his political leanings.   That is not the way that I am using the term liberal.  For one, when you truncate the phrase due process under the law, to just due process, then I would say that is a liberal interpretation of the text and what it was meant to apply to.
