I do, I do believe.
I believe in the pedophile Jebus of the Roman Catholic Chrurch.

I guess you think I'm Catholic, and that I'm supposed to be offended by pedophile jabs at the RCC?

Sorry buddy, I'm not.

More mind-reading.
I simply said what god I believe in.

Any actually educated person would know there are many forms of belief and disbelief ... since you obviously don't, I can assume you are uneducated.

No one is "complaining" about anything, (except your constant misrepresentation of the facts).
I do get you need (as many religionists) .. the world in nice neat separate boxes, tied up with neat bows.
Suffering from "low ambiguity tolerance" is a common theme in religiosity.

Well, here's your oppurtinity.

Atheism is a lack of belief in God/s.

You claim you're not an atheist.

Please explain to me why, inquiring minds would like to know.

"Pew’s domestic survey—“When Americans Say They Believe in God, What Do They Mean?”—found that although 9 in 10 Americans say they believe in a higher power, only a slim majority believe in the God of the Bible.

Pew’s massive Religious Landscape Surveys published in 2007 and 2014 had already shown that the share of Americans who believe in God with absolute certainty has trended downward in recent years to about 63 percent, while those voicing doubts about God’s existence has grown."

Mother Teresa: (published letters)
"I call, I cling, I want ... and there is no One to answer ... no One on Whom I can cling ... no, No One. Alone ... Where is my Faith ... even deep down right in there is nothing, but emptiness & darkness ... My God ... how painful is this unknown pain ... I have no Faith ... I dare not utter the words & thoughts that crowd in my heart ... & make me suffer untold agony.
So many unanswered questions live within me afraid to uncover them ... because of the blasphemy ... If there be God ... please forgive me ... When I try to raise my thoughts to Heaven there is such convicting emptiness that those very thoughts return like sharp knives & hurt my very soul. I am told God loves me ... and yet the reality of darkness & coldness & emptiness is so great that nothing touches my soul."

Was she an atheist ? Looks like it.

So basically you’re a ignostic atheist, as opposed to a gnostic or agnostic atheist.

I’m not sure what the rest of the dribble about the pew survey or mother Teresa’s doubts were about. But okay

Exactly.

Nope. Try again.
Not surprised your need for black and white thinking precludes you for even getting the nuances. But okay.
Very typical.

I think incorporating a more nuanced and broader definition of atheism is preferable to using your own special labels.

Atheism is a lack of belief in God/s, or a rejection of the belief that God/s exists, regardless of reason, including the supposed incoherency of the term God/s.

A position in which one lacks a belief in God, because it's not clear to him what that even means, is still atheism. Because atheism is a mere lack of belief, not the justification of the lack of belief.

You define your own beliefs however you want.
You don't get to define anything for anyone else, and your opinion of the matter is irrelevant.
Atheism is not agnosticism and neither is it igtheism.
Calling everyone an atheist is as ignorant and childish as assuming a non-believer knows less about religion than believers. .

I’m not defining your personal beliefs, I’m defining terms, along the lines that these terms have been defined by other atheists.

You said atheism is not agnosticism, while many atheists would define themselves as agnostic atheist. By this sort of implication, of the meaning of terms, you’d fall into the bracket of an ignostic atheist, whether you like that label or not. Your personal feelings have nothing to do with it.

I think that most atheists like the Dawkins Scale given his The God Delusion.
