My point has been for decades, that access matters, and as long as America is held hostage by one industry and one lobby, we will continually have the level of firearm violence no other wealthy first world ally has like we do. Europe Canada, Australia and Japan, ALL ALLOW firearm ownership, despite what anyone might sell you, THEY DO. What they don't have, that we do here, is an unhealthy obsession. 

Now, if you find the level of firearm violence in America acceptable, you are either delusional, disturbed or both. If you don't find the level of firearm violence acceptable, then offer solutions, but don't scream at me when you say, "Just keep them out of the wrong hands" and shit your pants when I agree.

The majority of firearm deaths are suicides. Second would be domestic violence, or neighbor on neighbor violence, third would be a kid getting a hold of the parents gun. Mass shootings do not constitute the majority of injuries or deaths. But the fact that we have exponentially far more mass shootings than our closest allies, says alot about how access plays a roll in all kinds of injuries and deaths.

I used to work in gun sales. When pro- gun people see the ( D )s " getting into power" - they buy more guns and ammo.

Evidence? Ammo shortages - like the one that ended a year or so ago - only happen during periods where the ( D )s have the appearance of having a chance of passing anti- gun legislation. Just before, and during the Clinton administration - I watched guns and ammo getting sold at a frenzied pace. I would say this is the period where private ownership of military looking guns soared. They simply weren't that popular before the 1990' s.

I guess if you' re against " flooding the market with guns" - the best thing you can do is a straight ticket vote - for the ( R )s.

Sure.  One of the local gun shops here paid tribute to Obama in a string of adds run in late 2016/early 2017, for having given them several of the best sales years in their history.
