You see, I assumed since this is the "off topic" section that what was said in the "Christianity" section wouldn't be held against me, but you have already counted it as my greatest flaw...smh. Actually, what are your reasons for disliking me? Wouldn't you agree that whatever you dislike is based on limited knowledge?

You see, my positive thoughts of you (and Aleialoura) are renewed every day, because no matter how unkind you are to me I realize that there is a completely different side to you. A side that I will simply never understand unless I meet you. You and Aleialoura have made it clear that I will probably never meet you in my life, because of what I've said, that kind of response makes me think you fear confrontation or that you fear your hatred will not persist after you know me.

The limited knowledge I have of you has pointed me in the direction that you hold some fairly abhorrent views for no reason. I certainly don't fear confrontation.

On the matter of this being in Off Topic and keeping forums separate, well perhaps you should start practising what you preach (that'd be a new trick for a Christian). Since the comment I've pressed you on twice now was an off topic comment that you made in the Homosexuality thread implying that I follow you around the forums and attempting to goad me by saying 'Guess what: Homosexuality is still immoral', contributing nothing to the discourse. This came after several posts falsely accusing me of relying on insults. So perhaps it's less to do with your opinion, and more about your determination to misrepresent me and your pathetic, childish attempts at baiting. I don't really tend to act friendly towards people who do that. But basically, I try to avoid befriending bigots.

So one more time, since you were the one doing the baiting: Can you find another example except that thread of me showing up in a thread to confront you, which you claimed was happening all over the place? Are you that much of a coward that you won't admit to immature taunting that was based on literally nothing?

The views that I hold have a reason, you simply don't tolerate the reasons I give, sounds like bigotry (intolerance of other opinions) to me. You don't fear confrontation, good, neither do I.

I wasn't trying to bait you with that comment I made at the end of the thread. I was letting you know that I remain true to my opinion, no matter how many insults you hurled my way, because opinions don't change just because someone is disgusted, they change when someone shows grace, patience and respect. You have already shown that I will receive none of these things from you, so it's very easy for me to maintain my view of you and my view of homosexual practice.

I did not falsely accuse you of relying on insults, you do seem to need them, you always find some way to insult me in everything you type back to me, as you'll notice above. Also, I didn't realize the comment about you following me around would hurt your feelings. I'm sorry. I thought that joke and the joke about you having a crush on me would simply be ignored, but you're more sensitive than I realized.

Calling me a coward, but you're unwilling to meet me...I see. Also, just a moment ago, I say "have a safe trip" and you say, "I'll look out for your racist outfit and your burning cross" then you turn to call me immature.

You have a long memory for the things that disgust you and an extremely short memory for the kindnesses paid to you. Someday you will learn that you have it backwards. I know this, because I still want to be your friend based on the one time you were kind to me and not the many times that you degraded me and all that I hold dear.

Bottom line, homosexuality isn't immoral to many. It may go against the book you believe in, Salty, but that book has no relevance to atheists or, in truth, to anyone save xtians. Qualify it as being immoral to you.

I'm going on a fucking six week trip, in which time will be precious; why would I want to waste a moment of that hanging out with someone who I've no reason to believe I will get on with? You've consistently shown that you don't understand the difference between using insults, and relying on them. I pointed this out in the homosexuality thread as well, just before you went quiet. You can try to point at them and accuse me of therefore not having an argument, but it's disingenuous and unconvincing.

Basically, you can drop the act, nobody is buying it. Your charade of being nice to everyone no matter what is nauseating. I choose who I associate with based on their words and actions, and I don't like those of yours that I've seen. You have the right to hold whatever opinions you want, but if you don't expect people to make judgements about your personality based on them, you're in the wrong place.
